The story.....

The Hamblin family have been involved with greyhounds since childhood. Their father trained greyhounds from the family home meaning they were hooked from an early age and have been involved with greyhounds all their life.

In the past the family have competed at independent tracks like Aldershot, Edgware, Hinkley and Warwick and have owned many greyhounds that have competed at Reading, Oxford and Swindon, always having retired greyhounds in the home!

Following the closure of Reading, Chris and Phil concentrated on their shopfitting business however, they have decided that now is the right time to return to their life long hobby although this time, as professional trainers looking to compete with the top class competition across some of the best tracks in the country.

Where we compete

We aim to travel wherever needed to ensure our athletes are competing at the highest level in open races throughout England. We are attached with Towcester and following the fantastic work done by the team at Oxford Stadium, we are hoping to also be based there too.

See more regarding the Oxford Stadium updates www.oxford-stadium.co.uk or on their Facebook page Oxford Stadium

Our Facilities

Building the dream........

We have invested to provide the very best home for the athletes including spacious kennels, sand based paddocks and a 350m grass gallop - all within the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside allowing miles of varied walks everyday! We also offer our athletes the bedding of their choice!

It's a team effort!

Team Hamblin is a family adventure that sees each and every one of us benefiting from the love and care we give our athletes. The youngsters learn how to care for them and their environment - even testing out their rooms for comfort!

Chris and Phil are supported by a dedicated team of 4 kennelhands (excluding the kids) to ensure standards are maintained and our athletes have the right care and attention they deserve
